"Do you or someone you know suffer from fibromyalgia? Do you have constant pain and it's affecting your day to day life?"
Yes, and that's what fibro does. The constant pain affects your day-to-day life.
Were the topic "Do you suffer from fibromyalgia, and are you also filled with rage?" I would TOTALLY write in. Instead, they want to push some new treatment or something. Ergh.
So, who wants to inundate the Dr. Phil show with messages demanding that we angry fibromites get some screen time? ;-)

I wouldn't trust Dr Phil to treat a pet mouse, let alone treat a human being, nor would I trust anyone he recommended to treat anyone. I don't think he has the knowledge to treat fibro, and if doctors who do have that knowledge have run out of treatment options, why the hell should we trust Dr Phil to know more than they do? After the shit he pulled with Britney Spears, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.
I don't follow daytime TV, but isn't he a shrink?
That alone pisses me off, b/c fibro patients seem to get shuffled off to mental health (at least, that is where they shuffled me off to, b/c ya know, it's all in my head and the magical cure is therapy and anti-depressants, but there is a longer story there).
I am so fucking tired of fibro being shuffled off as a mental health issue that I could puke blood.
And if I did, a medical doctor would maybe pay attention?
Yes, he's a pop-shrink and diet-hawker who has absolutely no idea how to shrink, let alone what fibromyalgia is. As far as I can tell, he specialises in choosing divisive issues (example), then haranguing the hapless volunteers who go on his show about how they need to pull their socks up and stop whining/lose weight/discipline their children/whatever. He can't even get the absolute basics right (recommended age of introducing solids to children, for example), let alone anything more complex.
I fucking hate Dr Phil.
Dr Phil. Should he really have the prefix? I mean he recommended this site http://www.pricelessweddings.com.au for woman to get married but in the end these woman did not need to get married but rather further counseling
